We are a design led architectural practice, based in Nottinghamshire. We are a CIAT Chartered Practice which provides a comprehensive design service for homeowners, commercial clients and developers. We work throughout Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, the Midlands and further afield in the UK.  Our work encompasses new buildings, extensions, renovations and alterations.

JJS Architecture is led by award winning Director, James Shaw, who has over 20 years of experience in designing and delivering residential and commercial projects throughout the UK.

Our ethos is centered on collaboration. We are passionate about listening to and understanding your aspirations. We will work closely with you to explore the unique potential of every project to develop imaginative and inspirational spaces to live, work and play.

Sustainability is at the core of all our work, as we believe that sustainable design is good design.  Sustainability should be embraced to add value, promote innovation and enhance the environment. This provides the opportunity to create inspiring, healthy buildings, with a minimal impact on the environment, with the integral benefit of reducing running and lifecycle costs.

Our process is one of clarity. From the initial sketch to the finer details and through to construction we use our creativity and professionalism to manage the journey to ensure projects are delivered on programme and are commercially successful.
